There has been unprecedented advancement in the field of veterinary public health in the last 10 years. The futuristic demand of society on the issues such as food safety and quality, healthy ecosystem to sustain the life, monitoring and surveillance of animal diseases, prevention and control of Zoonoses, National and International rules and regulations to facilitate international trade have posed challenges to veterinarians.
