With the ever changing scenario and development of new course contents as laid down by regulatory bodies for Indian Universities in the course outline for undergraduate and postgraduate students of biotechnology and biosciences, a basic need to cater the complete syllabus into one umbrella has laid down the foundation stone and blueprint of the present book entitled "Biophysical Technology and Cell Biology". In order to keep away from uncertainty with regard to the approach utilized, the present book constitutes the first parts of the three book part. The exhaustive contents of the books have been divided into three chapters which again consist of sub sections. One of the exciting aspects of being involved in the field of biotechnology is the accelerating rate of progress. With this in mind the first chapter starts off from general account of the chemical nature of living cells including molecules for living systems in Biological Chemistry. Similarly second chapter consists of fundamental theory about different tools and techniques utilized in biotechnology together with practical application of the same. The target of the third chapter is to highlight the concepts of cell biology and genetics including mutation and population ecology. This book will extensively assist students, teachers and academicians to further extend their knowledge beyond the course work and related subject matter but onto the practical application to gain insights of what happening new in the present era of applied science.
