Dr. Shashi Kiran Aarani is the third generation homoeopath from Aarani family of Mahabubnagar district, Andhra Pradesh state, India, a family which is very much dedicated to Homoeopathy, serving the people of Mahabubnagar district and Hyderabad for over last 55 years. Graduated from JSPS Govt. Homoeopathic Medical College, Hyderabad.

it is only natural for the author to develop his interest in Homoeopathy while dispensing medicines and reading homoeopathic books as a child. Inspired by his father and grandfather, pursued the system as profession.

The repeated problems being faced by students and practitioners while reading Boericke materia medica has pushed him to work hard and consequently, author the book.

Besides Homoeopathy, the young author has varied interests with an added graduation in computers, mathemathics and chemistry, an MBA IN Health Care Management Services. Also he worked as a free-lance journalist in a Telugu web news channel and newspaper and is a multi-tasking personality. He has great interest towards the development of homoepathy and public health.
