English Literature (Voice of Indian Diaspora) is very resonant and elegant literature among regional literatures in India and among other literatures around the globe. The rapid growth of this literature is amazingly wonderful. Some literary legends and all time great writers like R.N. Tagore. R.K. Narayan, M.R. Anand, Raja Rao, Anita Desai etc. are prettiest feathers in the cap of Indo-Anglian literature. This progress has been a saga of a colourful procession in the field of fiction, poetry and drama. The book brings together a collection of scholarly papers on the various aspects of Indian writing in English. These papers are the products of intensive study of the respective authors and bring out the literary qualities of various poets and fictions writers of Indian English literature. The book deepens the existing critical responses and explores many unseen dimensions of Indian English literature. This book focuses on Indian English literature. A writer’s essays published in the periodical press suffer from a certain ephemerality which is perhaps rather inescapable. The fate of those that appear in edited volumes, though slightly better, is not much different. Easy accessibility is facilitated when all these are garnered and brought out as an independent volume. It is this idea which has prompted the publication of this book.
