The theme of the approaches and methods has been adopted for women empowerment. It is known that patriarchy is mainly hindering women's empowerment. Furthermore in this volume, features of women and empowerment have been analyzed via responses to international commitment, and women's positive and negative responses have been discussed. This edited volume brings together the findings of contemporary issues, challenges and concerns related to Women Empowerment. Women do not have autonomous status and have secondary status in gender as well as in Society. They also confront social structural inequalities and injustices in their daily lives. In sort to eliminate such inequalities their empowerment has always remained an apprehension to the social reformers, activist the planners and policy makers. The empowerment of women can be attained by seeing at some critical, social and economic indicators of human development such as population, health, nutrition, mortality, economic, political participation, skill development and how the whole women population is given the opportunities to the admittance of empowerment.
