About the authors

Kishore K. Basa

K.K. Basa, a Gold Medalist in H.S.C. Exam. (1973) in Orissa as well as B. A. (History Hons.) Exam. (1977) from Utkal University, did his M.A. in History (1979) from Delhi University and M.A. (Private) in Anthropology (1984) from Utkal University. He is selected for the Commonwealth Post-Doctoral Felowship (1999-2000) at the University of Cambridge, U.K.

Pradeep Mohanty

P. Mohanty is a Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Archaeology, Deccan College Post Graduate and Research Institute (a Deemed University), Pune. He did both his M.A. (1981) and Ph.D. (1989) from the Deccan College.
