Dr. Azibur Rahman was born on 1st September 1968. he was a honours graduate of Gauhati University in 1989. He did M.A. (edn) 1st class from Kurukshetra University in 1993. he started his professional career as a lecture in 1993 in Hoji Girls College and now he is a senior Lecturer in mount Olive College, Kohima. Rahman was awarded Ph.D. degree by the Nagaland University in the year 2000 for his doctoral research on Mental Retardation. Dr. Rahman is currently a life member of All India Association for Educational Research. He is also life member of Indian Red Cross Society. He actively participated in framing of B.Ed. & M.Ed. Curriculum in Nagaland College of Teacher Education. His article ‘The teachers day’ was broadcasted All India Radio, Kohima Kendra in the year 2000. His article “The holocaust of Hiroshima and Nagasaki” was published on 9th August 2000 in a leading English daily Nagaland Post on Hiroshima day. Dr. Rahman has published several research papers in the reputed research Journal. He wrote the book, “Fundamentals of Sex Education”. He has the experience of participating national and international seminars where he presented papers.
