Flora of Kanchenjunga Biosphere Reserve Sikkim
The book “Kanchenjunga Biosphere Reserve, Sikkim” provides the detailed floristic account of 11 species of gymnosperms and 1467 species of angiosperms. Gymnosperms consist of nine genera belonging to five families, whereas Angiosperms are with 604 genera (monocot: 123; dicot: 481)spread over 138 families (monocot: 23; dicot: 115). Key to the genus and species based on easily recognizable field characters is also provided. The book will not only fill the gap in knowledge about the flora of the biosphere reserve, but also will be useful to identify wide range of plants of Sikkim.
