The Most Orange
The Most Orange is a collection of 43 poems. Each poem is accompanied by a sketch drawn by the author. The poems reflect a mind that dives into the ocean of thoughts to explore the mysteries around that are almost impossible to handle if left unanswered. Nature, life, love, death, deceit, the pain of discrimination, the power of assertion, the desire to revolt, to fly, to assert and break the norms, the pain of defeat, the fight with the self to create, too Indian and too universal, the claustrophobia, the degeneration of society and the diehard spirit for survival all find space in her canvas. Despite all complexities one does not fail to see a positivity that pervades her workwith a strong conviction in supremacy of the Divine that prompts the poet’s celebration of existence upholding meaning on a barren heath of meaninglessness. Her drawings evoke a similar feel where creativity and the event of being on this earth are manifested in the unique manner of her expressive grace.
