Social exclusion is a never ending phenomenon. In India social exclusion exist in different forms. Exclusion in India Age-old phenomena. Social exclusion exists since the time in memorial. Unlike Western countries social exclusion in India exclusion is in more a traditional form. The fruit of the development is not reaching to the last lay person of the society because of the various in hurdles. Over the centuries certain sections of the people are still remaining as excluded from the mainstream. The papers in this book are originally presented in ICSSR funded seminar.
