About the author

Rajinder Peshin

Dr. rajinder Peshin is Associate Professor of Agricultural Extension Education at Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu (SKUASt), India. He is an agricultural sciences graduate, and did his M.Sc and Ph.D in extension education at the Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, India. Dr. Rajinder Peshin has a rich experience of working with the farmers. He worked as Agricultural Extension Officer in the Department of Agriculture, Government of Jammu and Kashmir, before joining the university. He has worked in the Krishi Vigyan Kendras, university research stations of SKUAST-Jammu. Presently he is associated with teaching extension education at graduate and post-graduate level at SKUAST of Jammu. He has been associated with the IPM programmess since 1993 in different capacities. He has authored one book on "Integrated Pest Mangement: Adoption and its Impact on Agriculture", and has more than 25 research and review articles on IPM published in international and national journals of repute and books. He is life member of many national and international scientific and professional societies, and is Councillor of "Indian Society of Ecology". His field of expertise is IPM diffusion and evaluation research.
