To write the biography of a man is the most difficult task. It is even more difficult to depict the life of a Yogi. The present writer faced this problem while attempting to give a glimpse of the life and attainments of his Data — Shrimat Swami Dhananjay Dasji Kathia Baba. We always felt that he was not an ordinary mortal. His calm and composed appearance, his eagerness for the welfare of the entire humanity helped as to understand that he had come down to the ordinary mortals for their benefit. Our Gurudeva had crossed through many hurdles to attain spiritual eminence. His erudition, Scholarship and attractive may of speaking to the people and above all, his affectionate association helped us to recognise Him as our friend, philosopher and guide. This small Treatise is only an attempt to show how a Divine Soul came to bless us, how. he lived and with great devotion, perseverence and adherence to the dictates of his master, how he transformed himself from Dhirendra Mohan to Sri Dhananjay Dasji and form Dhananjay Dasji to the great Saviour of humanity.
