Synopsis The Eastern South Asia Subregion (ESAS), comprising Bangladesh, Bhutan, India and Nepal, contains one of the largest human and material resource endowments of the world. Cooperation among ESAS countries towards the development and utilisation of these resources can vitally contribute to poverty removal and sustainable growth by promotion of mutually beneficial investment and trade.
