Bovine Production in the Tropics
Bovine Production is one of the main subject of Livestock Production. The available books on the subject are eighter from developed countries or limited to European cattle (Bos Taurus). In the Bhartiya sub-continent, the native bovines are Indian Cattle (Bos Indicus), imported humpless cattle (Bos Taurus) and their crossbreads of different proportions of genetic materials.
