Emotional Wellbeing : Perspectival Explorations towards Theology of Emotion
‘Emotional Wellbeing’ is a topic of utmost public importance in the face of existential crises humanity is facing due to war, disease, disaster, and death in recent times. Human emotions and emotional wellbeing play a great role in the social wellbeing of people and communities. Co existence in the creation and healthy social life among people and communities depend on emotion and emotional wellbeing. Therefore, the book explores and attempts to provide intellectual and practical resources for addressing the emotional challenges facing people and communities in our times now and to strive toward the emotional wellbeing of individuals and the social wellbeing of the community at large. The book makes a theological affirmation that the very God of the Bible is the God of Emotion and human emotions are part of the Imago-Dei. Emotion and Emotional Wellbeing are the creative design and the vision of God for living beings, especially human beings, to live in peace and harmony in creation.
