This volume is dedicated to Professor Mislav Jezic, who celebrated his 70th birthday on September 20, 2022. A large number of papers by his colleagues and friends, students and teachers arrived for the Festschrift; these were divided into two major sections. This is the first volume, entitled Medhota sravah I, and it contains Indological papers, mostly in the field of Vedic philology and Sanskrit Epics and Puranas. The second volume, entitled Medhota sravah II. Misao i slovo is mostly in the Croatian language and its papers reflect professional interests of Prof. Jezic that extend to other fields: Croatian and Slavic linguistics, comparative philology and mythology.
