This book provides first-hand detailed information about plants on the B.N. College campus. Each plants with their flowering and fruiting stage were highlighted mainly for its proper identification. Other important data of each species such as botanical name, synonyms, native ranges, local name, medicinal uses, plant part uses, chemical constituents and even the IUCN Red List categories were given. 

Botanical name is the official scientific name of a plant which follow International Code for Nomenclature. Every recognized species on earth is given a two-part scientific name. this system is called “Binomial Nomenclature”. These names are important because they allow people throughout the world to communicate unambiguously about those species for their various uses. IUCN Red List categories for each plants were assigned to know the exact threat category. This study will also intends to inspire the institution to take the initiative for the enrichment of green biodiversity within the campus.
