Major General (Dr) GD Bakshi is a combat veteran with extensive experience in Counter Terrorist and regular operations. He has done two tenures in the prestigious Directorate General of Military Operations during Sri Lanka and Kargil operations. He has taught at the IMA Dehradun, Staff College Wellington and National Defense College (NDC). He is an avid student of military history and introduced computer aided war gaming at the Staff College. He conducted many Strategic war games at the NDC. This is the first work in his War game series wherin he will be wargaming major current and future conflict scenarios all around the globe. In this Monograph he examines two conflict scenarios of great interest to the world- the first deals with a Blockade of Taiwan by the PRC in August 2024-(that seeks to exploit USA’s current pre-occupations in Ukraine and Middle East and oncoming elections in USA). The second scenario plays a full fledged invasion of Taiwan in 2027 after China completes its miltary preprations. We are certain these will be of immense benefit for military professionals and lay persons alike.
