The present work is a comprehensive study of marital discord in Indian writings in English. A book which includes both old and new, male and female novelists exhibiting various kinds of discords followed by an analysis of Indian scenario. Prof. Khurana examines the basic causes responsible for marital discord. His approach is both sociological and psychological dealing with the temperamental incompatibility and sexual maladjustment of the spouses.
