Vijay Pratap Singh (Author)
Synopsis Resent surveys by the international organization in regard to children's health, it has been found that a large number of children suffer from visual handicaps. There are two reasons for this malady, which not only cause handicaps in the physical development of children, but it also is responsible for decrease in the level of educational development of children. There are many children who suffer from eyesight problems due to genetic reasons. They inherit faulty eyesight from their parents. Such disorders require early remedies and the educational agencies owe a responsibility in this area. Besides this, unhealthy living conditions, lack of proper diet and lack of proper lighting may cause eye disorders. Children coming from the slums and poorer families suffer from such eyesight disorders.
