Synopsis Health, education and share in economy, governance at national, state and local levels for development are more important for women than merely engaging in making laws to save them from exploitation and violence. The concentration should be on programmes, methods and practices in the areas of education, health, governance, employment, rural and urban development through which women can develop themselves. The present book has been divided into Eleven Chapters. All the chapters are supplemented with tables, charts, and case studies.
