Kishori charan Das

Kishori Charan Das is one of the most celebrated writers in India today. He writes primarily in Oriya, the language of his native state. He received the Sahitya Akademi Award in 1976 for his collection Thakur Ghara (The Prayer Room) and was the recipient of the Sarala Puraskar in 1985 for Bhinna Pamsa (Other Ashes).
