Development with human face, economic growth devoid of environmental problems, concern for future generation are issues being hotly discussed in various national and international forums. The concept of sustainable development is being debated all over the world. These discussions are giving rise to innovative ideas for resource management, optimum use of renewable resources, their regeneration and restoration, waste recycling, improved processes etc. Development of new materials are becoming attractive methods towards sustainable development.
