Dandelions of Tibet
Synopsis
Dandelions of Tibet: Poems by Bhuchung D. Sonam is one of the few poetry collections in English by a Tibetan. The author was forced out of his country at a very tender age by the Chinese and has been living as a refugee in India. He pelts shower of words that eerily reflect mental and physical agony experience by refugees all across the world whether they are living in the scorching African deserts or shanty towns in Indian sub-continent. Many of the poems have subtle social message coded in Dylansic style and few have explicit political connotation. This book is a simple, yet chaotic work that promises an interesting read for every one living in myriad spectrum of life.
