Synopsis The book explains various aspects of formation and management of every kind of society with the help of decided legal case and with reference to State laws and other relevant literature. Emphasis has been laid in this work to make it a self manual for societies formation and management in general. Relevant aspects on formation of a society and its management thereafter, have been explained in lucid and understandable language and in as little words as possible. The book contains guidance for drafting of memorandum and bye laws of the society, procedure for its registration, formats of important resolutions, status, rights, and liabilities of members, working and management of the societies including duties of governing body, accounts, audit and litigation. The chapter on ‘Acceptance of Foreign Contribution and Hospitality’ gives complete information, with procedure and formalities to be followed for obtaining foreign grants.
