Synopsis It is widely felt that proper legislative measure enacted and implemented in time, can save the earth from environmental disaster. The need for environmental protection in an area, which has been at the forefront of the social concern during last three decades globally. What is needed is balance between development and environment. An integration of the environment and development is required at the policy planning and management level.
