Jawed Habib is a familiar name in the world of hairstyling. An honours graduate in French language from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, Jawed Habib at this young age has dominated the glamorous scenario of hair fashion and cosmetology. a versatile hair stylist, Jawed Habib's professional experiences speak volumes of his credibility and influence in his arena. A few lines cannot incorporate each of his experience and achievements, worth mentioning are his unique performance in an event in 1997, where he did 410 haircuts in 24 hours, which made him the Limca Record holder. He was part of Lakme India Fashion Week from 2000 to 2003. A prime figure in the Hair Show for Sunsilk in 2001, he was also the hair stylist for Bridal Asia as well as Miss India held in 2002. Jawed Habib has been the brand Ambassador for Sunsilk since 2000, involving advertisements, conferences, fashion events and fashion shows. He held more than 200 seminars, classrooms and workshops all over India, Bangladesh and Nepal. He has contributed 30 educational CD Roms on cosmetology. He along with his family (father, Mr Habib Ahmed; wife, Mrs. Shaheen Habib; brother, Mr. Parvez Habib and Mr. Amjad Habib) personally looks after the administration of their organization and hair academies, where students are trained in hair care and beauty. he syndicates articles on hair care and colours for various journals and newspapers. Professional Hairstyling is the author's third book.
