Synopsis Kashmir is a multifaceted identity. This work presents a Kaleidoscopic view of the colourful personality of Kashmir. It examines its ancient cultural and philosophical glory, social development and its complicated political questions. The work has analysed in detail, how Kashmir could be a part of Indus Valley Civilisation by providing scientific evidence. It has also meticulously shown, how the all pervasive natural environment provided it a strong ground for excellent creations in art, literature and philosophy. Handling superbly Kashmir as a political question, the work has exposed Pakistan’s falsehood and shown how Pakistan hatched a diabolical conspiracy to annex Kashmir by force in 1947 and how people of Kashmir foiled it. The work has provided authentic evidence from Pakistan’s own sources. Operation Gibraltar and Grand Slam, Operation Topac under Zia Plan have been thoroughly examined. Kashmir is bleeding to-day because of cross border terrorism. This work has examined its genesis and traced its long history and worked out its details. It has shown how the original people of Kashmir, Kashmiri Pandits were thrown out and uprooted from their centuries old cultural ethos under the directions of ISI of Pakistan, how were they killed, brushed and mauled and how their property was looted and houses torched under a conscious plan.
