Abilities Variations Among Blood Group of ST & Non ST Samples
Synopsis
The book has been entitled as, “Abilities Variations Among Blood Groups of ST & Non-ST Samplesâ€, and it covers the elementary behaviour of genetics. The book consists of five main chapters, besides summary and references. In chapter I, a detailed introductory note on the relative influence of ecological and factors has been given. Laws of genetics have been stated in the light of available literature. The concept of racial differentiation has been discussed at different places in context of intellectual development. A detailed account of genetic control of blood groups has been presented. Various empirical researches conducted in India and abroad with regard to the role of genetic factors in determining the cognitive abilities have been cited. Genotype difference in Level I and Level II abilities test has been mentioned in detail. In short, the issues related to the problem have been scientifically dealt with. Chapter II presents a resume of related researches in the area of cognitive processing in context of genetic variables. The theory and research relating to contrast groups differences in respect of mental abilities in blood types, have been stated. The researcher has, thus, empirical issues and relevant literature pertaining to genetic contrast group differences in cognitive abilities, as reflected in terms of test performance. The studies have been presented in a tabular from which provides easy reading Specific studies on Blood types and intelligence have been also cited. Chapter II deals with methodology where objectives the study, hypotheses, research design, sampling scheme and research tools have been given. Biological and Psychological measurement for Recording blood groups and cognitive processing of ability level I and II have been highlighted. In chapter IV the findings have been scientifically presented in the form of table as well as on graphically. The research finding have been aptly treated by applying Analysis of variance and ‘t’ test. The research findings have been well discussed also in the light of various hypotheses and earlier studies. The findings have been found to support a number of hypotheses formulated by the author. In chapter V the concluding remarks regarding the genetic analysis of continuous variables in the human population and essentials of the two level theory of cognitive abilities have been presented well. Lastly In the chapter VI the entire work has been precisely summarized to present an integrated picture. The references are up to date and exhaustive. The author has tried to keep the language as simple as possible and have given examples from his own research work. It can serve as reference book to teachers and researchers working in these areas. Therefore, it will be extremely useful to the students as well as the teachers and thus, has a wider perspective. Suggestion for improvement will be most gratefully acknowledged.
