“Indian Economic Development: Globalisation, Transformation, Equity, Crime and Economic Thinking: is a collection of Seven Presidential Addresses delivered at Annual Conferences of the Indian Economic Association (IEA) during 1997-2003 respectively at Hyderabad, Bangalore, Amritsar, Jammu, Vellore, Thiruvananthapuram and Kolhapur. While all the addresses centre around the focal theme of Indian economic development, they are also unique in their emphasis on some particular aspect like equity, wage goods, crime, globalisation, transformation, economic thinking etc. Theses addresses were delivered respectively by Dr. d.S. This volume is the Seventh in the Series of volumes containing IEA Presidential Addresses since 1917.
