About the authors

Amrit Verma

Amrit Verma has co-authored several books with H.N. Verma. She has written Forts of India for the Publications Division of the I & B ministry and has contributed articles to the magazine Femina. She actively participates in the Indo-American Community Services Centre of Santa Clara County in the USA. She is an M.A. and an LLB from the University of Delhi.

H.N. Verma

H.N. Verma has authored several highly acclaimed books including 100 Great Indians and Decisive Battles of India through the Ages (in 2 Volumes). He has also published a number of articles on various subjects: literature, history, international relations, law and philosophy in Indian and foreign newspapers. He has participated in discussions on Doordarshan and has given talks on AIR. He retired as Director of commercial publicity, P & T Board in 1984.
