Blay Whitby is Lecturer in cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Susses, England. He has taught AI for nearly two decades, and hsi research focuses on the social and ethical implications of new technology. He is the author of two books and numerous papers, is editor of Britain's foremost AI journal, and a regular commentator on this subject for the media.
