Legal Justice Education: Vision Plan for Legal Schools
Synopsis
There has hitherto been a progressive movement, qualitative as well as quantitative, in legal education, and now, it is "Legal Justice Education". Assimilation and dissemination has been the core of "Legal Justice Education". Legal justice education aims at developing the notions and perceptions of justice in the law students so that they think aloud "Justice is a sword which requires no scabbard". The law students at the law schools are to be trained in such a way that they have their own thinking process; they develop their own perceptions, concepts and visions, and as such they should think independently as well as individually. This training is imperative to develop the personality of would be young advocates who shall be adorning the bar and the bench. The personality of would be young advocates mainly depends on the art of presentation. Speech, voice, gesture, knowledge, language, emotion all go into the art of presentation. Therefore, expectations from the lawpersons are high to come up to the expectations of the avowed aims of "Legal Justice Education". The law students must be trained in the art of advocacy through mock trials and moot courts at the law schools. This book can be utilized by the universities, law colleges and schools, judicial academies and other academicians in the field of law for improving the standards of the law graduates.
