Jesus Christ is an illustration by Amar Chitra Katha on the story of Jesus, which is told in a lucid style. This book is the story of Christ, a man who lived 2000 years ago, who is regarded as the embodiment of the best qualities in human nature and whom the Christians believe to be the Son of God. The book, through pictures, tells the story of Christ drawn from four contemporary life sketches called the Gospels, written by his disciples. The Gospels are an important section of the Christian scriptures or the Bible, and are the main source of the teachings of Christ.

Amar Chitra Katha, "Immortal Captivating (or Picture) Stories", is one of India's largest selling comic book series, with more than 90 million copies sold in 20 Indian Languages. It has titles covering the great Indian epics, mythology, history, folklore, and fables in a comic book format. It was created by Anant Pai in 1967 and published by India Book House. In 2007, the imprint and all its titles were acquired by a new venture called ACK Media.
