Rishikesh Shaha

Rishikesh Shaha (b. 1925) is Nepalâ€™s internationally known political analyst, a veteran statesman, an avid shikari and a conservationist. During his eventful life, he has held several key positions and has authored many books, most noted being, Modern Nepal: A Political History (1969-1995) Politics in Nepal (1980-1990), and Three Decades and Two Kings: Eclipse of Nepalâ€™s Partyless Monarchic Rule in Nepal. Currently, Shaha lives in Kathmandu where he works as President of Human Rights Organization of Nepal.
