Synopsis The book contains the well known verified characteristic symptoms of all our medicines besides other less important symptoms aiding the selection of the curative remedy. All the new medicines and essentials of the published clinical experience of the school have been added. In its present compact for it contains the maximum number of reliable Materia Medica facts in the minimum space. Perhaps the best known and most widely used of the Materia Medica/Repertory combinations, although most buy it for the Materia Medica and pay scant attention to the repertory. This lack of attention could be because the repertory is set out in a manner somewhat similar to the ideas of Bonninghausen, where stress is placed on the location and the modalities. It is so different from Kent’s work that most people look at it and pass it by. Nevertheless it is a serviceable repertory if the time is taken to acquaint oneself with its use.
