Synopsis These volumes deal, in a comprehensive way, the theme on Dawn of Indian Nationalism. The participants in the long drawn political struggle belonged to several classes of regions in our sub-continent. They had to traverse a long journey of more than six decades. The Raj used all methods to strengthen its political and constitutional position. Three major movements were launched under the leadership of Gandhi who fully identified himself with the masses of India. The two volumes deal with most crucial period of Modern Indian History.
