Synopsis This book is the result of a descriptive survey and direct observation of the author in finding the factors influencing students interest in Mathematics. Interest is the beginning and end of all education. It is a great motivating force that persuades an individual to engage in a cognitive and conative behaviour. Interest in the subject Mathematics occupies a central place in the teaching-learning process which gives direction both for the teacher and the taught. Every Mathematics teacher usually faces the problem of creating and sustaining interest in the student. This book presents some interesting and amazing factors that stimulate or hinder students interest in Mathematic and to think of ways and means of achieving interest in Mathematics.
