Synopsis A Dictionary of any subject, particularly that of science, is of great value in removing and confusion, contradiction and doubt in the shortest possible time. It also helps a lot both in teaching as well as learning of the technical terms in lucid style and served as a guidance to the students without foreign them to search endlessly. The present book written in the field of wildlife will help students in understanding technical terms in the aforesaid subject. Besides, the terms has been described in detail as well as in sequence, wherever required, to make the book more effective and fruitful serving the dual purpose like of dictionary as well as being informative about wildlife management. Hence, the book has been titled “Dictionary –cum- Handbook of Wildlife”. Since Wildlife Management is not a very old subject in Indian Universities, few books have been written about it. Keeping this in mind, it has been written to aid students, wildlifers, naturalists and all those interested in the wildlife.
