Synopsis The theme covers nine chapters alongwith a glossary and bibliography. The political events have deep bearing on the life of Subhas Chandra Bose which gives us a significant glimpse of socio-economic and political events of three historic decades. After his resignation from the ICS, he spelt out a new political ideology during 1930s to bring about Swaraj as early as possible. His was the restless spirit and he wished to use his energy and enthusiasm for guiding the personnel of the Indian National Army in South-East-Asia. Indeed the task was most stupendous and March to Delhi involved risks of high magnitude. The terrain consisted of thick forests, difficult paths in mountains and ravines. But INA under Bose was a disciplined force which played its innings in a remarkable manner. Besides the theme contains all the proceedings of the INA trial. Undoubtedly the volume would be useful for social scientists, teachers, researchers and students in India and abroad.
