‘Lean’ is a management term that is used to remove waste and improve the workflow in the organizations thereby, increasing their productivity and profitability. It also reduces the cost and time involved. It is not used just, as a tool to improve the operations in the organization; rather, it is a holistic enterprise-wide approach.
