This volume in based on empirical study carried out to understand the determinants of truckers vulnerability to HIV and develop a perspective to do social work practice with them. The volume is divided in eight-chapters. Chapter one describes the HIV infection as a public health challenge. Chapter two explore the epidemiology of the infection at global, regional level.
