Michael Vimal Pillai holds a bachelor's degree in Commerce from Delhi University and a master’s degree in Sociology from Madurai Kamaraj University. He has nineteen years of work experience, of which four years have been in the social sector. He has worked on projects related to HIV/AIDS, child abuse, non-formal education. He is currently working as a Consulting Editor at Icfai Business School Research Centre, Ahmedabad. His prior experience includes working on issues related to HIV/AIDS, during his employment with the Indian arm of FXB International, and earlier with AIDS Awareness Group (AAG), an Indian non-governmental organization (NGO), based in Delhi. His areas of interest are social research, communication, health, education and issues related to children.

Manoj Kumar Pattanaik holds Masters degrees in English from Berhampur University and in Law from Gujarat University. He is currently working as a Faculty Associate at Icfai Business School Research Centre, Ahmedabad. He has five years of experience in NGO and academic sectors. His areas of interest are general management, international legal studies, IPR, human rights and development studies.
