Dr. Surinder Khanna, B.A. (Hons), M.A. and Ph.D. from Panjab University, Chandigrah is a retired Professor of Sociology and great social activist who did a lot to serve the cause of women. At present she also holding a key post in an NGO devoted for the welfare of women. She had learned credit a lot two years before the emanicipating seven minor girls from the profession of prostitution. A prolific writer, she has many standard publications-books, articles etc. to her credit.
