Synopsis Indian English Literature after independence has passed through some definitive trends for extolling the cultural heritage of India as a nation, the innovations in linguistic competence and the structural properties, the piercingness through the motifs of socio-political consciousness and above all the revelation of certain specifying conditions of human mind and the interior regions of human psyche.
