The book entitled "Decision-Making of Dairy Beneficiaries" (Role of Aspiration, Motivation and Knowledge in Decision-making and Adoption of Dairy Practices) is an outcome of research carried out by Dr. U.S. Gautam at NDRI Karnal (Haryana).
 
This book has six chapters like introduction, review of literature, theoretical orientation, research methodology, result and discussion and summary. The book is significant endeavor to attain and inspiring into the path analysis of aspiration and motivation in decision-making component. Component with respect to utilization of improved dairy practices by different categories of the beneficiaries in IRDP of Uttar Pradesh. The measurement of socio-psychological, communication and economic variables of the beneficiaries and the measurement of the decision-making component and adoption of dairy innovation by the dairy beneficiaries have inculcated the occurred findings of the book. The interpretation of these results would be implied by the various dairy extension personnel, dairy scientist and other officials engaged in currently envisaged dairy development programme. The book will also be extremely useful to the village, block and district level extension personal in implementing the task oriented programmers and in obtaining high quality results in order to maximize the milk production, which is our national goal.

On the whole this book will be able to show a path forward to dairy beneficiaries for taking rational decision for maximize the milk production and additional income generation on regular basis through scientific dairying.
