Synopsis The book entitled "Location Specific Farm Modules for Bihar (A Field Experience)", author brought out our field experienced in the project of technology assessment and refinement through Institution Village Linkage Programme. The work was carried out in Sone Canal command and covered 1070 farm families in Patna District of Bihar.

In this endeavour, the book presents 27 different technologies related to rural leadership, income and employment generation and various integrated farming systems based on the available resources, under the leadership of the farmers and farm women with active participation of the scientist in supportive mode, different technologies were selected for assessment, refinement and demonstrated in participatory mode on rice, wheat, pulses, oilseeds, multi-tire horticulture system, multiple use of water and animal based farming system and landless women through their participation in mushroom and vegetable nursery production under poly house, back yard poultry, fish production along with duck farming in Common Property Resource Management (CPRM) and Individual Property Resource Management (IPRM).

On the whole this book will be able to show a path forward to various location Specific Farm Modules in participatory mode, which will ensure enhanced production and productivity, generate rural employment, check the migration from rural to urban and also address the issues of equity and sustainability with enhanced profitability.
