Synopsis ‘Fundamentals of Indian Society’, is a book with some new approaches to the study of Indian Society.  The book highlights various aspects of Indian socio-cultural milieu concisely right from the Vedic Age to the Modern period.  It encompasses various aspects of Indian society including its culture.  The variegated socio-cultural pattern of Indian Society has been highlighted systematically right form the Ancient period to the Modern Age in different chapters.  The book consists of eight chapters wherein the formation, growth and development of Indian society and its multifarious cultural pattern is reflected with various changes of developments.

However, an attempt has been made to highlight the basic frame-work of Indian multifaceted society and its glorious civilization and magnificent culture including the population structure, language and religious, it is expected that the book will provide at least some basic ideas to the individuals who wants to know about the Indian society and culture.
