Synopsis The sole objective of this two volumes book "Muslim Feminism and Feminist Movement in Middle-East Asia" is to conduct a study of the conceptual development of Muslim feminism and motive of feminist movement in Middle East Asian countries—Iran, Iraq, Palestine, Saudi Arabia and Turkey. The first volume of this book contains 15 important articles of eminent scholars. The first two articles are focused on the development of feminist culture and fundamentalists resistance in Middle East Asian countries. The rest of the 13 articles deal with Iranian feminism and feminist movement. The second volume of this book consisting of 12 articles deals with the nature and motivation of feminist movement in Iraq, Palestine, Saudi Arabia and Turkey. All these articles basically deal with a general patterns of feminist movement and its impact on the socio-political and legal reforms in family law and the status of Middle Eastern Muslim women.
