An effort undertaken by the Ministry of Health, Govt. of India—this technical report documents a number of medical practices/claims on prevention and management of various vector borne/infectious diseases through Ayurveda and Siddha. The information has been painstakingly gathered from practitioners and researchers from across the country and has been systematically recorded in a specially developed format. It is hoped that the report serves as a basic document for the concerned research scholars, scientists, students and medical practitioners.
